Kiele Designs is a line of handmade jewelry by Marin County Designer, Katie Hemmeter Fredricksen. Her designs are simple and elegant and are created to be worn from day to night, looking equally fashionable with jeans and a t-shirt as with evening wear.

Katie uses both sterling silver and 14K gold filled chains, hoops and wires for her designs along with semi precious and precious stones, Swarovski Crystals and Cubic Zirconium. Her jewelry is affordable, functional and hip.

Katie was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. In 1983, she moved to California to attend Stanford University and fell in love with the San Francisco Bay Area. After college, she spent some time in Santa Fe, New Mexico and Boulder, Colorado, but she soon discovered that her Hawaiian-raised bones did not like the snowy winters of the Rocky Mountains. In 1990, Katie returned to the Bay Area and has been living there ever since, currently residing in Larkspur.
